I've owned her for almost three years. I bought her with one lady owner from new, full service history with 78000 on the clock. A 1.4 16v sport 1996. I then reached 101000 and the bottom end gave up the ghost, so time to change. I sourced an x16xe, rebuilt that December 2006 and a big end shell spun in its seat and starved the crankshaft of oil. So I then found another crankshaft and started the process again, this time going all out. See spec down below.

Car:
1996 1.7 16v Sport – Still registered as a 1.4.
71000 miles on the clock. Last two MOTs match mileage. 110,000 on the shell itself.

Engine:
X16XE Fully rebuilt Jan 2007 – Just less than 10,000 miles since.
F13CR Gearbox.
Bored out to a 1705cc using Vauxhall oversized pistons & rings.
Lightened & Balanced Bottom End. Done @ SES in Braintree.
ARP Rod Bolts.
SBD Ultra Light Weight Flywheel.
C16XE Head – Port Polished, Gas Flowed, Multi Angle Valve Seats, Enlarged Valve Throats, Matched Ports. Done @ SES in Braintree.
Autosprint Fast Road Cams.
SBD Cambelt Rollers.
Mantzel Style Inlet Manifold.
Modified Throttle Body – Lip removed & polished.
Pipercross Vyper Induction Kit.
Nology Hot Wires HT Leads - £160!! – Never Seen On Another Corsa Yet!
VPC Rally Spec Tubular 4 Branch Manifold.
De-Cat.
Full Stainless Steel Cat Back Powerflow System.
Roose Hose Kit.
Optima Yellow Top Battery.
Chrome Power Steering Tank.
Chrome Header Tank.
Polished Rocker Cover, Although should have a powder coated one available as well.
SAI Removed.
EGR Balnked Off.

The Rebuild Included:
New Oil Pump.
New Clutch.
New Cambelt.
New Alternator Belt.
New Water Pump.
Every single nut and bolt has been replaced.

Serviced 3 Times Since Rebuild.

Remapped & Rolling Roaded at Courtenay Sport - 143.2 Bhp @ 6250 Rpm. 129 Bhp at the wheels. Top Speed on the Limiter is 137 mph.

Wheels:

16” Rota Slipstreams (Very Light) with Falken 195/45/16 tyres. Two on front are brand new.

Chassis:

Spax RSV Coilovers On The Front. Lowered ??
Spax PSX Shocks On The Back. Lowered 60mm.
Fully Polybushed Front End.
Front Upper Strut Brace.
288mm Calibra Turbo Front Brakes with EBC Red Stuff Pads.
Recently Fully Rebuilt Rear Drums.
Powerflex Exhaust Mounts.
Regal Quick Shift Kit.

Interior:

Black Sport Door Cards.
Calibra Turbo Black Heated Leather – Wired Up & Work.
Retrimmed Roof Lining In Green Synthetic Leather.
Stealth Shelf.
Back Seat In Calibra Leather. The metal backing to the seat has been cut and two subs are behind in their boxes. You can’t see them as the foam and leather covers them but they basically punch you in the back.

Bodywork:

Smoothed, Extended & Bad Boy’d Bonnet With Custom Bonnet Vent.
Morrette Head Lights.
De Badged Grill.
DTM Mirrors.
Smoothed & Bad Boy’d Boot.
Number Plate Recessed Into Back Bumper.
DTM Rear Lights.
Tinted Windows.
Single Wiper Conversion.

Ice:

Panasonic Headunit – Not sure which one but 4x60W output.
Fusion Speakers Up Front.
Pioneer Tweeters.
No 6x9s Yet As Last Ones Are Dead.
2 12” Pioneer Subs.
6 Channel Audio Systems Amp.

Alarm:

Toad A101CL Alarm & Immobiliser.


There are a few dings in the bodywork here and there. It could do with a new drivers door as the last one is slightly bent from when they attempted to break into it after me owning it for 2 days! I may be able to source one before hand though.

MOT Till April
Tax Till October ( I Think)

The only thing she would fail on an MOT is because she hasn't got a Cat. If it comes to it i'll get her MOT'd but it'll cost slightly more.
