Couple of things to note:

Not for a long time?
"3. Police officers are drawn from all sections of the community."
So why no White British, Jewish or Jedi police officers in this pic?
"6. You might have seen a police officer driving past in a police car."
But there aren't enough to stop and make a difference...
"13. Police officers also help and look after the victims of crime."
Who are always women from an ethnic minority?

We need military police in this country. In France you don't fuck about, the Gendarme will kick your face in and mace your eyes, no one fucks about there.

Yea, but you don't get stupid little shits hanging around like chavs all over the place. Though my only experience is in Grenoble and round the mountain resorts so I couldn't comment on what goes on in other places. It's just when the Gendarme turn up everyone stops what they are doing.
Either way, France is a bit of a dump, but we need thier police

Would be nice if the police did their job, and protect and at least try and prevent crime, than do a bodge job of trying to clear up any incidents that happen.

where i live the crime rate is so low, last year a total number of ......0 yes 0 cars were stolen! I live in this small country village where ewan mcgreggor is from, real nice it is.Its great living here as thers no little theivin tards trying to bend your door's back, its funny really..people leave their keys in their cars while they go in the shop's, no litter, no teens on every corner. Does wonders for your insurance.

lol matt the police round here are actually on the ball, they have carefues on all the local small villages, they stopped last bus from our village to the next bigger village to stop all the kids stayin here late, they stop the buses and take all the booze of the teen's. Our local newspaper 'police corner' read last week, this is no joke..
" on saturday a purce was lost in james square, all the belongings were returned, the purce is yet to be found "

oh yes its amazing here, only moved here 2 years ago.Full of rich folk, j.k rowling lives 30 mins away, full of millionaires and nice cars..there's a nice audi r8 just up the road from me.
