Hi there, got your email to.
I'm still very happy with the car, have had to get my boyfriend to tweek a few bits but mostly general wear and tear and he's put power steering pump and ancilaries on as it was proper heavy due to it still having the power steering rack from the 1.6 sport instead of a manual rack but it's all good now.
Can tell it's had the cash spent on getting the correct parts for the conversion and I'm really happy with the 2.0 8v engine.
Still can't understand why so much cold air comes through the bulk head into the foot well when travelling 50mph+ but Steves going to have a look at some point.
The other thing is.... i want to have the ariel replaced for a standard one, do you know if it's one bolt or two?

oh and where the wiper was on the tailgate has cracked so i'm going to have to put a wiper back on!
