Deano you'd love Wales.
I know of 6 specific MTB tracks round here. A couple were built by continental tyres

Make a pilgrimage to Wales once every year, to the Brecon Beacons and do bit of an XE ride.
Also been to the Marin trail in north Wales, Coed y Brenin (quite a few years ago before it 'moved') and Afan Forrest need to go again some time, absolutely love it. Just finding the time though, about 190miles to mid-Wales (Brecon), then more to North and South

All put mine to shame
Mine is a dual slalom bike, not really ideal for the sort of bike trails round here. May think about upgrading

Any excuse for pics
My 'XC' bike - Cove Hustler

My freeride/downhill/huck bike - Specialized Demo 7, from France, so quite unique colours in the UK the picture was taken just after I had bought it, hence the wheel reflectors. I hasten to add they have been removed

Some cool vids, theres loads of places to ride here in Somerset, Theres soooo many disused quarries that have been turnerd into tracks, Mountain Biking UK Magazine is based in Bath so theres so much around where i live, one of there main courses is just down the road from me about 4 miles.

The only thing I dont like about it is the pedals too small for my trainers and got clips on one side! My ex has ordered me some chunkier grippier ones from him shop though! Pink! Woo. Should be here next week.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0wKjvd0eQmE
i followed this guy non stop through his vids etc when i bmxed properly for like 2 years, spesh when he rode for Macneil.
Used a couple of his frames and they were schweeeet.
i think he just has a proper gnarly style. Check the mini backflip at the end of the video into barspin tap
