She won 5 grammys last night and the america media are going mental saying what a bad example to set to children giving her an award.
How many of the great arisits do not have a drink, drug or both problem.

I think its a disgrace. She can't get in to the country because of drugs, she shouldn't win anything the country has to offer.
It is a bad example, it is a great shame that someone in the public eye acts like that. I don't care if its addictive and difficult to get straight, she should have thought about that before she got there.

I really couldnt care any less about this or the Britney shit, or anything to do with them tbh.
I'll enjoy the music/films/whatever if its to my taste, but if they want to act like a complete fuckwit like they do then its upto them.

Rolling stones where into worse things than drugs,yet everyone loves them.
So what she takes drugs its her life her choice shes not telling anyone to do drugs or gloryfying it judging by the states she gets in.

why does she have to be a role model to kids, shes not singing bob the builder
she dosent present kids shows? shes a blues soul singer.
its only the media that have once again fucked up, and ended up making her a role model.

in all fairness her music imo is pretty shite and doesnt deserve 5 grammys anyways let alone the fact shes a druggy skank, and the difference between the older bands/people mentioned drugs were on a different level back then and more of a socially acceptable thing. Also alot of the above mentioned bands are still making music now and are not taking the drugs anymore and im sure most would urge others not to....

Her music is critically acclaimed though, i don't listen to her stuff either but i can respect the fact she's widely acknowledged to be the best female vocalist of her generation.

iv seen a few inteviews with some of the rolling stones and non of them are anti drugs at all.

Ive got amy's album and im not usually into this type of music but i like her stuff  soon as shes better i hope to go to one of her gigs.

I don't see the problem. I'm not a fan and I'm not keen on her songs but the panel will have voted for her music and not her lifestyle. End of the day she sells records and gets good reviews.

i have had a similar discussion about MJ
i think his music is brilliant and i am sure many here can agree there is one, two, three or more tracks but as a person an absolute piece of shit given what he gets up to
the same applies to AW imo. a totaly waste of space and a terrible shame to what she has done to herself but doesnt mean her music is any less talented
