Just a quick question, i'm look at buying a Merc 320 CLK in the next week or so but the MOT is due in April and im a little concerned about the bill if it fails.

Does anyone know if i took it to a garage whether they would check everything that would be done on an MOT??

theres no point in a pre mot, just take it for an MOT and see what it fails on.

i think it is the RAC that do a vehicle inspection. basically you arrange it with them and a RAC fitter comes out with you when u go to view the vehicle and carries out a quality check of the vehcle, tells you what faults it has, if its a wrong'n.

its deer but if thats what you want......

Don't take it to an MOT early thats silly. Get a friend to come along who is in the trade to have a look over it, or open ya wallet for the RAC thing.

When he's had your money, he will not want to know.

I wouldn't anyway.

Once you get shut, its no longer your problem.
