I have absolutely no idea what is going on but everytime I get off of the phone and try to ring someone else it just says 'Connection Error'
That is only half the problem, my reception seems to be very limited. One minute I will have full reception the next there will be nothing! 
What the hell is going on!?
Does anyone have any answers?

What network?
Or by 3g did you mean 3 the company, if so i have no idea.

3 - I should also mention I have the N73 (it could be problems with the phone)

Strange this, im on t mobile, mates on virgin (runs through t mob).
We been having problems for about 3 weeks. They told us to go into settings and chnage it from dual to gsm in network settings.
Works fine on it, just no 3g usage. if i turn it back, it works for a few hours, then dies again.

menu > tools > settings> phone> network. then network mode i changed from dual to gsm.

I definately think it's a network problem, just drove down the road and I had full reception and I was able to make calls send texts etc... come back home and it's fooked again

I Have this on 3 with my N958gb and so dose my mate, also my phone has stopped logging calls.

Switching from dual to gsm shouldnt affect it tbh. The phone will automaticly switch to 2g when theres no 3g coverage. Unless where your using your phone is right on an in/out 3g area which means itl swith between the two all the time, that said it should be seamless!

The problem is fixed now... I am guessing it may have been a local transmitter problem...?

must do something jambo, when they told me to do it, it was working fine on gsm, but on 3g wouldnt work. tried swapping about 10 times, always never worked on 3g and fine on gsm
