thing is u just cant be to sure nowadays. it would be human nature for most to stop but the attacker could have easily just had a knife or anything.

Me and my cousin stopped before as we seen a guy and a girl arguing in a phonebox both pissed and the guy was starting to get rough with her.we went over to have a word and the girl started hitting my cousin saying keep your nose out 
But id still stop again, i hate men that hit women they disgust me

Id wanna stop but wether i do or not is another thing, i would deffo call the police.
Thing is the ammount of people killed who go to others aid is very high these days,

It's one thing to stop and another to help out. They could have at least phoned the police, minimum

My mate saw a girl being assaulted by a lad at the side of the road. His instant reaction was to run over and bang the guy. He ended up being charged with assault himself, because it was the girls' boyfriend hitting her, and of course once they'd kissed and made up, she turned on my mate. Not worth it most of the time, although in this case, I'm sure I would've stopped, or at least wound the window down to see what was happening.

thats happened to me before some silly bint punched me in the chops for telling her boyfriend to calm down!! (he was pushing her around in the street at the time) i was well pissed off!! but as said, i would always defend a girl if a guy was getting rough with them, i personally think its bang out of order.

I would stop and shout and try and get a feel for whether they were just be adventurous and a bit rough or if she was actually getting attacked

Id definately have stopped. She was being punched in the face and having her clothes ripped off her. She would have been screaming!
The drivers who didnt stop deserve locking up themselves IMHO.

yeh true, if i didnt stop at scene then i would have stopped to call police around the corner. Depends on the situation tbh.

I would have felt so quilty if i didnt stop, and so would have had to. I doubt that i would have got out of the car without a weapon, but i would have at least shouted to them or called the cops.

The thing is if you stopped and ended up in a fight with him you could be up for an assault charge. But I think instict would be to stop and help.

I would like to think i wouldnt worry about the possiblity of an assault charge untill afterwards, but it could be enough to put you off.
Fucking stupuid laws.
Once someone attacks a woman like that they should lose their human rights.

last time i saw a druggy hitting his wife on the street, i was with mates who decided to get out my car and kick and hit him with a kosh poor fucker then got beat up by the police whilst we hastily made an exit
