i know that the 1.2 can be easily tuned from like 1.3 manifold and carb and gte cam, but is there "bolt on" mods like that for the 1.3sr and what sort of gains are we talking?

Sorry but why bother? For the cost of these uprated SR mods you could buy a better small block lump that will be a better starting point than a 1.2 which wil always be tripe.

People seem so scared of cars over fueling these days. A lean mix is more dangerous tbh

a 1.3 8v is not a competition engine i'm sure competition engines over fuel for cooling purposes.
i'm talking much overfueling so much it bogs down etc

I had a 1.8 injector in a 1.4 SPI before. Just made the revs take longer to drop really.

1.6 cam might be a good idea mind

i thought the 1.2 and 1.3 heads were better because the 1.4carbs are square ports and the 1.2 and 1.3's are nice and oval

Aye
Fitting a 1.4sr head will loose you a proven 8-10bhp.

You could fit a weber 32/34dtml carb.
Are you using the engine for autocross or something? Restricted to a single carb?

na i'm just interested (filling up my vauxhall knowledge) because i haven't heard much in the way of tuning 1.3's only 1.2's but i suppose they are nearly the same anyway so tuning must be similar.
is a 32/34 carb from an astra 1.6? and i presume you need the inlet too? but the ports will be different......

A 32/34 is a replacement for the standard 1300/1400Sr carb.
As it has a mechanical second choke, instead of the vacuum operated one on the standard carb.

I was just insterested in why your fitting/have fitted a 1300, and want to tune that, when a standard 1600 mpi 8v will be quicker and cost £50....
