id like an mfd on my dash, but will any of the wires be there on a 97 merit

is there, ive been hunting for them for ages and apperntly little duke says i wont have it because i never had something behind my front bumper

yeah if you have the outside temperature sensor you will have them

have a look under the bonnet at the bottom of the front bumper to see if its there

can you fit an outside temp sensor or is it not worth the hastle

Easy fit mate tbh Look up the wiring diagram in a Haynes. Wired one up in a Nova once, just don't do the radio.

IIRC it needs a perm live, ign live,earth, illumination feed (from headlight switch) from the inside of the car and the two wires from the temp sender from the outside.

Grab a temp sensor from a scrappers, extend the wires and put them through the big gromet behind the glove box

Have you taken the bumper off to see that its not there? you cant see it from just looking under the bonnet

you can ee it from the bonnet, dont take the bumper off

you cant see it from under the bonnet can you? you might be able to see it from underneath the car, its here circled in red:

the wiring should be there..

my merit came with and mfd as standard, so wiring should be there
