Long shot, but I want a 2.5 inch twin round for my punto but I want NO extra noise, purly cosmetic mod

could a different tip be welded in to mine, Its right on the throat of the bend though

Changing the tip of the pipe can still change the noise and note of the exhaust. Probally not as much as fitting a different backbox. If you know some one who is good with a welder and you can get your hands on the tip you want, might as well give it a try. If it comes to it the exit pipe copuld be cut off at the box and a new bend fitted along with the tip.
