Author loud banging noise?

hey guys just a quick'e

last night everytime my mate starts his corsa up it mades a loud banging noise then goes quite when idleing

but then the banging noise comes back under load or revving..

i think it something simple like he hasn't put oil init is there any other things bud?

corsa is a l reg 1 .4 sri 8v version

exhaust on rear beam or something rattling

The way he's wrote it suggest he's saying it's coming from the engine, not the rear...

mine also does this sometimes.

think its common in corsas, but make sure all fluids are topped up.
