Based on JonnyJ's portraiture photography in this thread:

http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=404606

I figured I'd give it a shot. I've had my mop chopped today.

Only uploaded one so far as I'd finished tweaking the levels.

Behind me is my flyer collection, and I'm wearing some headphones I bought for self directed study lessons at Uni.

Yes, Im actually 20. though I look a fair bit younger

Nice pik, not that i fancy you or anything mate cus i dont...honestly...ok maybe a lil

them headphones would make a great pic though, like them flat with the wire and jacks just infront of the main speaker part and use makro, they come out really well.

hehe
yeah, I need to source a nice white sheet for some macro shots. its just not the same with some busy background. The shadows on macro shots are pretty tasty on a blank canvas.

I figured id do a portrait shot, as I'm usually pointing the camera away from me, not towards me.

work in progress:

the collection is growing, all my other walls have posters etc on. it fills that whole wall above the nasty 'student housing' curtains and down the other side. slowly spilling onto the other walls.

I shone the desklamp towards me to cast a cool shadow. and had the main light on in the room.

had to keep pretty still, else it would of blurred. not a fan of using the built in flash and cant afford a flash gun
