What speakers are they? Sony aren't known for making excellent speakers, your money might be better spent elsewhere. Check out the Richer Sounds website for some bargains, read some reviews but if you can listen to them yourself, even better.
The AV reciever you posted wil have an amp built into it, its mainly just the very high end equipment that has seperate processing and amplification.

Would recommend going for Quad or Mission or B&W or something along those lines for speakers.
