its really really simple i did my own nova 1.2 8v at 19 with no car experience, so long as you take your time have the right gear (good tool box and engine hoist) you should have no major issues, the only issue i had and it wasnt anything major was the fuel pipes into carb i put them in wrong way round so it was sucking the in pipe, just take ur time and if your not confident plenty of pics where cables pipes etc go good luck
