does anyone know of anywhere that will do an engine rebore on a 1400 8valve sri corsa and if so does anyone know wat a good size rebore would be as i dont want to do an engine conversion and just want to make my 1400 as powerfull as i can.

you have to take the block out to rebore it anyway
just replace it with a 1600 block

what a 1600 block of a corsa gsi 16v or a nova gsi 8v?

Ideally i think swapping it for the 8V would be more straight forward cause i think if you swap to 16V i think there maybe some mount conflictions unless you buy new and maybe fuel line/pump issues aswell!?!?

reboring is not a cheap way to gain more power, as there is alot more that goes with it. u will need to up the fueling, etc etc also.
i do believe that the 1.6 8v (e16se) from a nova gsi/gte is a direct swap i engine wise altho u might need to change the loom.

well to be honest idealy want to keep my 1400 and squeeze as much power as i can out of it so if you have any help in how i can manage this then your more than welcome to let me know.

and they can be used in conjunction with ta bored out 1400 block and a ported polished and skimmed 1400 head?
