right got x16xe on idle the battery light is off as soon as you move or rev the car it comes on! have had a multimeter on it and the battery fine as its brand new you turn the car on and it reads 14.1volts which is good but as soon as u rev the car it dies down to between 12-13volts. i've notice my rear window wiper stops about half way across the window! thinking earthing problems any ideas?

belt slipping? shouldnt be as its auto tensioing but easy to check otherwise i suspect it iwll be alternator!

when the car is ideling turn every thing in the car on. like heated window, lights, heater blower, radio
see what the battery is reading, then rase the revs to about 2k and see what its reading then... it should be running about 14.2 down to about 13.5 anything lower id say alternator.. also you would here a screaching noise when the belt starts to go
