most likely be the idle control valve.

cheers i'l try changing it. i dont think its working properly anyway. are you suppose to hear it when you switch the ignition on and off?

i have another question on here about hesitation around 2k revs and everyone says its air flow meter with there been no eml showing, could this affect the idle???
