I had this when I had 38 offset wheels with 195/50/15 tyres. Changed to ET49 Cav GSi wheels with 195/45/15 and no probs.

Take a wheel off whichever side you think its coming from, if they are rubbing you will see markings on the tyre / shock / arch.

Tyres could be super low on pressure, making the tyre "fatter" than usual, and then the tyre would rub on arch / shock?

best off having a look with the wheel off though.

i think iv sorted it, the rear drum cover had be pushed against the drum, seems to have stopped the noise, god knows why i thought it was a rubber sound, lol

fitted the 40mm lowering springs and koni shocks and my tracking is way out, top of the wheel pokes in and bottom is pokin out, anyone know why??

Yep.

On another note, whenever you lower a car, you should always go & get the tracking done as 99% of the time it will be out.

You cant do much with the camber, unless you fit adjustable top mounts or some of those camber bolts.

Use the car as little as poss, has the potential to totally wreck your tyres.

oh, lol, i got it wrong.

you only need to get tracking done if you change the fronts, there is no adjustment on the rear.

i assumed you had changed the whole lot.

I know what you mean, but the rears are not adjustable as far as i know, theres nothing to change the camber on the rear?

Shouldnt be too much out anyways, do you have the springs seated right, and all the bushes / rubbers on the shock the right order?
