We're hoping to be moved in, in the next month... or end of April at the latest. Just waiting for the wooden floor guy to pull his finger out and tell us the concretes dry enough to fit it (concretes been down since May last year and apparently still a bit damp). then we need carpets fitted, all being well first week in April they are booked in for.

But whilst we're waiting the en suite bathroom needs bringing forward. So today I've (with the help of the old boy) started to 'box in' where the sink/toilet will go

and while we're at it raise the shower tray area by 7" so it has a proper fall on the waste pipe. This will add a nice feature........ when more LED light go in

the boxing in will be finished tomorrow, then next weekend it'll be sorting out the U/F heating and tiling..... again

just can't wait now till its all done.

Nah, concrete will be absolutely fine. You could pour it 3 feet thick and it'd be pretty much fine after 30 days.

We recommend at work that reinforced concrete for access tracks shouldn't be driven on for 30 days by normal vehicles, 60 for artic lorries and thats generally 200-300mm thick.

Yours should be absolutely fine mate.
