should have a life ban, especially after reading this:

One of her previous drink-related offences was in 2002 when she was disqualified from driving for five years after crashing her car on the A14 while taking her children to school.

he considered an immediate jail term would be "hopelessly damaging" to her family.

oh right but crashing while drunk killing her children and possibly another family wouldnt be. Its a joke how people like that have the responsability to look after kids. Hopefully next time natural selection will take place and she will crash an burn.

not to defend her but she may be a single parent so jail would be harsh on her kids, and on suspended sentance she'll get caught if she does it again.
also thats the cost of going to court, not the fine which she may get

give a fuck, she clearly deosnt care about the kids if she's driving them around while she completely steaming. It wuold probably do them a favour not to have a such a bad role model around them.

First offence perhaps, but not if she's already crashed while under the influence.

Hopefully the next incident won't hopelessly damage to lives of whoever she crashes in to.

What a remarkable failure of the British judicial system to change her behaviour the first time, never mind this one.

Damaging to her family to send her to jail?

personally I would like to see social services step in and take those kids away from her, she is a clear danger to their safety. How she can even think of drinking and driving is beyond me but with her kids in the car on the school run? she clearly doesnt care about herself, her kids and any other road user.
