What would happen if brake fluid was poured into the header tank?

It needs flushing out, brake fluid is heavily corrosive.

Just drain the coolant system, give it a good flush out with a hosepipe and refill it, should be fine

Yea I would now, but sort it as soon as possible, just to reduce the effects of the fluid.
