Here are some pics of my car from about a month ago, these pics were taken prior to getting various work done on it. Im considering it might be a good idea to sell the car following on from my track time at coombe as I could really do with something practical for getting back and forth around the country in.
The spec will be;
102k on shell, approx 60k on engine
MOT til July
S2 1.6 8v engine
QEP Lightened and balanced flywheel
1.3 Rallye gearbox
Quaife ATB LSD
Helix Autosport 4 paddle clutch
Peugeot Sport Group A engine mounts
Bilstein B8 dampers
Eibach -30mm springs
Brembo 4 pot brake calipers
New brembo brake pads
New brake disks
Goodridge braided hoses
10 point OMP bolt-in roll cage
Cobra Monaco bucket seats
GE quickshift
6 point FIA approved Sparco harnesses
15" Team Dynamic Monza alloys (including spare)
Toyo proxes all round
Powerflow cat-back exhaust system

2.5, 3k I'd say.
Mods don't normally add value but I'm sure someone off the Rallye Reg or 106OC would rip your arm off for it

You use your car day to day nath? Im finding myself travelling alot more lately and in more need of a decent reliable car. As someone on Rallye register says though, I probably wont want to sell it after combe.

At least your car is 100% tracked up... mine's a compromise... but the problem is, I have the annoyances from semi tracking it up, on my daily drive like loud noise and bumpy suspension, with the compromises on track enjoyment, like not being fully stripped, lack of bucket seats, on semi slicks or caged.
I still wager on your car being one of the quickest around combe on 19th.

Cant really insure a second car though, nor afford to run one on top of the 106. Im pretty adamant I wont live up to that statement mate!

I don't know about that Butler, from that spec you'll not be the fastest mph car on the track but i bet it'll hold the speed through and out of the corners therefore be one of the quickest.
You've done the main things for a perfect cheap track car, brakes and suspention.

dunno Steve, it's got a really short ratio gearbox, completely stripped, still a 1.6 (though 8v) I think it'll still pull 110-115 easy down the main straight.

and due to the lightness, the diff and the short ratio it'll be quick out of slow places like the chicane.

Yeah, but i was leaving my statement open to some car that has 700bhp and does 150 on the straights for an Eg.
However the average speed for the full lap won't be far off. Thats what i was meaning.

He's doubting his pug saying that isn't not the fastest thing that going to be out on a track day. I'm saying that it might not be the fastest top speed car out there but it'll rival cars that could be double the power of what his pug is coz he's got the brakes and sus sorted out 1st which i think is the most important thing that you can do.
Plus are you drunk?

I reckon that it would be worth more to you in bits if you were to sell looking at the spec
