I have been meaning to do a project topic for a while now but havent got round to doing it so my first few posts are going to be kind of a catch up section and i will update it as i go along

I bought the car in november for £650, it was lowered 60 40 on gmax springs and shocks with a peco twin pipe back box, lexus lights and has a super chipped ecu, and side skirts, apart from that it was a fairly standard 1.4 sport, i wasnt keen on it i bought it because it was cheap but i had plans this is how it looked when i 1st got it home ....

I hated the skirts and the rear lexus lights so they had to go, within a few weeks the car was looking like this ...

I got myself a set of smoked depos for £10 BARGAIN!!!



and these smoked rears for £15 which isnt bad either!

I love softstars but i wasnt keen on my 14" versions and didnt have the money for 16s but a set of fan blades came up dirt cheap so i snapped them up they were a bit rough and needed a refurb heres when i got them ...



Prepped and primered ....



Drying... in my room .... mum wasnt best pleased

What a bargain on the depo's :O Car is looking good aswell!! Why dont you spray the black bits on the car the same black as the wheels

Next up i gave it a full service and fitted a new pipercross filter and also got hold of an anthrecite engine cover and added a 16v sticker which i think looks pretty cool



I then bought a rear strut brace off a mate of mine mark lawton



and also managed to get hold of a full s/s exhaust system with decat!!!

I'd get the centre caps on the wheels if you can make would look much better IMO

Scotty - loads of people are suggesting i colour code the plastics or go for an anthracite grey but i have seen it too much and im thinking of going with the black idea aswell but havent got the cash at the mo !!

lil g - i have only got 3 center caps as soon as i get a fourth they will be going on lol

mark - cheers dude i wont be selling the exhaust just yet but i may be around the summer time £5 and you can consider your car washed

CW stickers i didnt even know it stil existed. car looks ace mate, you on chopped springs or custom?

Only down side i would say is the cage looks abit odd in red and the exhaust seems to stick out from the back bumper abit to much,

Cheers guys... ste i still havent had any look finding a center cap but i quite like thm without to be honest i think it looks quite good.

Cheers john im always at the rock retail park meet on a tuesday night and cruise wirral have a little meet there on a thursday night, unfortunately for now springs are chopped whilst i save for coilovers which im hopefully getting this summer!!

Ive been thinking about paintin the cage but iv only had it a week im still not sure weather or not to keep it yet the only other colours i would do it is the same as the car or black as i dont think a chrome one would suit my car

where abouts you live mate, i havent been down the rock since i had my brocade yellow corsa!

Yeah cage would def look 10 times better powdercoated gloss black, maybe white

Dont even need coloivers made, just get hold of dave a or www.coilsprings.co.uk they both do custom springs
