My car is missing cruise control, will it be pre wired? I have a blank over the hole were the stalk pokes out of the steering cowl and have the icon on the dash board, I know for a fact it is pre wired on the Fiat stilo and its just a matter of buying the stalk and plugging it in, Im not sure what its like on any other Fiat?

Like in the pre 97 corsas everything was wired, do Car makers still do it

Steve did the cruise control mod on his newish Fabia, so I would imagine it all is.

As above, try an owners club.

I would say theres a very good chance, stuff like wiring will all come in a standard harness. It would probably be more hassle for them to have different harnesses with/without cruise ctrl for example than to just produce one with everything required. VAG does this, Vauxhall used to, I know some cars the wirings incl for heated seats etc is its specced on some models. I would say you onto a very good chance.

I would have thought it would be, doubt they would make loads of different looms for ones with/without the extras.

Mates mum has a 57 reg active sport 1.4. If you want to actaully move, dont buy one. stupidly slow! Otherwise, good spacious car!

Depends on the car, it can range from just needing the parts to parts and bit of wiring and a reprogram to impossible or very difficult indeed because the loom is completely different. You won't know until someone does it.
