new york (around christmas time)
dubia (sp)
parents what to know what i want to do for my 21st as we all went away fro my bros. (went to new york for his, so iv bin there but always like the way it looks on films at christmas, so always kinda wanted to go)
but iv never bin to dubia, dont know much about it or whats there apart from that cool hotel (shaped as a sail).
which would you prefer? and why?
leaning a bit more towards dubia as then i can say i have been to both places.

New York was amazing, but I would go to dubai now.

dubai wouldnt be at christmas that would be middle of the year around my birthday.
ny is only at xmas cause id like to see it around then

Dubai is just as 'christmassy' in Malls and Hotels as anywhere in the UK despite it being an islamic country.
The one thing is, for me anyway, is just doesn't feel like christmas, and hasnt done for me yet. Going out in the arse end of December in tshirts just doesnt feel right.
You'd have an awesome time though, go to Ski Dubai, go on a Desert Safari (Bring a jacket though as it gets cold out in the desert), Go to Wild Wadi Waterpark (Again, a bit nippy at that time of year)

Also, Dubai is a feckin big place so you need to know the right places to go. If you decide to come here drop me a u2u on where you're thinking of staying, etc and I'll let you know whether it's good/bad/whatever

Oh and for my 21st... all the family at centre parks for a long weekend the weekend before my birhday...
Weekend of my birthday drinking somewhere different, newcastle or something...
Then holiday with the girls later in the month.
