My uncle went to a shooting range in america.

After firing shotguns and various handguns etc all day he was deaf for a couple days said it was awesome though.

Yes partly but also she shouldn't have had both arms bent, of course the recoil is going to pretty much test your elbows , should have locked one arm or both.
