owned one a while back.
can't remember specifically, but would have noticed if it was really bad, so must be 30-35 ish.
calibra 16v after that was much worse

I had a R reg one and it would get about 35 mpg. If you dont use the vtec it feels like a normal 1.6 car with no thrills. As soon as you start getting carried away and loving that vtec roar though watch the mpg drop!

more around the 200 mark..... but that is thirsty, but hes the best person to ask on here id say my other mate with one always moans bout filling it up, but he has jumped from a 1.0 fiesta

Around 30mpg is realistic when driving normally, but if your driving it it hard....
its not great on fuel.
Me and Lee did a 100 mile round trip yesterday, we put £20 in (half a tank) and theres just under 1/4 of a tank left now.
Mine is a fully built engine tho, with much more aggressive cams.
