just got a new custom exhaust, full system.
still got a centre silence (to aviod raspyness).
sounds nice, and pops and bangs.
but its not as loud as i had hoped..
do i just need to leave it a few weeks to break in or should i decat it?

Ive got no centre silencer and it does make it loud...its not raspy though, I was told at the time that the back box dictates the note and the centre silencer affects the volume

just remove the centre silencer,if u remove the cat it will be too loud imo

that sounds about right.
both my silencers are kinda long and very thin

I've now just got a little backbox on mine and it's way too2 too2 loud!!! Although when i go under a tunnel it sounds good. However i now have a ringing in my ears that just won't go.

thats what the guy who done my exhuast said.
if i didnt have a centre silencer it would be far too loud/raspy and i would look stilly

i used to have a decat and no centre silencer on my sport, was dreadful, now ive got my decat and a long thin centre box and its much better,

i have no silencer or cat, its nasty, way too loud, imo get it de-cat'd and keep the centre silencer.

it started sounding a bit better today.
when going from 4-6000 revs sounds like a monster.
and isnt too loud when crusing.
went into a multi story car park today, it sounded sooo nice.
