Just hired a Ford Transit to go and pick up a sofa..

Made me think how many people have either (see poll)

in a Ford Transit as the advert says "back bone of britan!

No matter how fast your going, theres always a transit wanting to overtake you. Our one at work is a LWB with a high roof. Sails past a tonne easy

Driven a few in my last job, i love vans, they are top, no need to worry about em,

Also my mate owns the blue 500ish bhp one, been out in that and its bloody ace, he's also building another transit but not a cossie this time, will post when its done,

I've hired one. There isn't a poll for that one.

It was dog slow but the speedo was way out. I took my tomtom to find the place. speedo said 90mph and the tomtom said 60mph. Just a little out

driven nearly every model due to my uncle being a builder and upgrading everytime a new one comes out. love the feeling u get driving one! feel like a proper pikey and u have riggt of way at any junction

Ive had

06 reg, pre face lift, SWB 85PS Front wheel drive.

A

07 reg, Face lifted, 100ps rear wheel drive tipper.

A

05 reg, Pre face lift, 90bhp tipper rear wheels drive.




my opinion is

tippers are shite

small trannys are mint really really fun to drive

driven loads. work has a contract with the council forall the maintenance on them. im currently doing an engine swap on one. damn ford parts, waiting on an injector from germany.

Owned one. . .well, my dad has.

He won't have anything else for work (he's a bricklaying contractor).

Got a 90 T330 one at the moment. Goes like stink, has bigger wheels and RWD Slightly smaller load space because of the bigger wheels. Supposed to be a towing one, but he never tows
