went out today to start fitting me 4-pots and first job is changing braided hoses over but i cant undo them, yes i am using a brake spanner not mole grips, anyways ive soaked them in wd40 and ill have another go but if this dont work does anyone think its worth cutting the nipple off and going and buying some new nipples and olives from vauxhall????

anyone no what they cost?????

Its not as simple as that.
You will need to cut the pipe with a pipe cutter(so it doesn't flatten), and then re-flare the end with a special tool.
Its easier replace the line with a new one made from copper.

try warming it up with a blow torch or oxy acetylene. dont overdo it, or the rubber will blow and the brake fluid is flammable.

I had to replace one of my brake lines with a new one when i rounded off the nut. Wasnt too expensive TBh about £8 for the length i needed (~1 metre) Then just had to bend it into shape.
