mega amount, twin carbs/ throttle bodies, head work, cams, exhaust, remap with different ecu possibly

really 2 be fair going mods like that your just as well with an xe but not everyone rates them, its really what you know how to do and can afford to do, like i preferably would have an 20seh over a 20xe but thats just me i find them more reliable than the xe with all the sensors but you have to comprimise on the power and the feel, engine nosie etc etc
but its really up to you, geting big power increases in any engine are expensive.
its what you prefer doing and works out better for you

Swap it for a 1.6 16v.
Then mantzel it. Nice increase. Different drive. Proabably save a grand aswell.
