My dad took my car for a drive and it was fine to start off with and a smooth drive then we slowed down for a red light. We started to move off again then when the car reached about 3500rpm+ in 3rd gear then the little engine light came on and it stayed on until about half way in 4th gear then my dad turned the car round. then we tried it again to see if it was just just because the engine wasnt fully warm then the next time the same happened then needles on the dials started dropping and the car was jerking gently then was going really sluggish,Could someone please help me as im starting to think i have bought a heap of shit?
The car is a 1.0 12v 3 cylinder if that helps
A mate also told me it could be a sensor of some sort or the AFM(Air flow meter).
