i recently had a problem with my car hesitating and rough idle so i asked the question on here and ppl said it could be the afm as it didnt put any fault codes up. so i changed it for a genuin bosch part, and also changed the idle control valve for a genuin bosch one. i gave it a full service and plugs and pannel filter. but i just been out in it and its still playing up with me and still a smell of fuel but no leaks.

please any help as its just cost me a couple hundred quid!!!!!

forgot to say. the ecu light came on this time and never did befor but the same problem is still there

did it make your car run shit on idle and not want to rev past 4k?

help anyone? would it make such a difference cos i didnt reset the ecu after replacing the idle control valve
