I just thought I would give you all an update on the v6 project so far the pictures below are the corsa going from the wrecked c20xe engine to the v6's first trial fit, let me know what you all think.

looks fun, but wouldn't it have been better to just shove another xe in? from what beardy has said the v6 is a nightmare to fit

everyone and their granny has a 2 litre nowadays, plus the v6 sounds alot better, my mate that is doing the work is a qualified mechanic and used to work for gmc motorsport doing all sorts of engine transplants and fitting superchargers etc plus he's doing it for free as well which is a bonus, I offered him cash but he told me he wants the challenge of doing it and not cash! I'm not gonna argue with that!

anyone know what mods need to be done to get the rear exhaust manifold to fit?

make a new one aswell as front down pipe

Ah right thats cool, I have 2 sets of downpipes and 4 manifolds to play about with plus a subaru impreza wrx sti cat back system to butcher, that was also free of charge!

Cant say i see the point in a V6, too much front end weight but good luck, maybe encounter you on the ayrshire roads someday
