Just bought a Corsa b on a P plate,its fitted with a Pioneer CD the problem is it does not turn on and off with the ignition but does hold the stations!
Could it be as simple as changing the red and yellow?

sounds like the ignition wire isnt connected up m8, think its a blue one but i may be wrong

yellow = permanent live
red = ignition live

Does anyone know how the car end of the harness is wired?
I have a spare pin which I think should be connected to the yellow.
As currantly both the perm live and ignition live from the sterio are connected to the perm live of the car hence it not turning off with the ignition.

Yeh
but I think when the yellow goes through the ios block its not connecting with the correct wire on the other side.
