Well i bought a corsa from Ipswich, was a right mess. Looked as tho someone had battered it with a baseball bat. Came with a tacky kit so tuck it off, plans was to do it subtle, but then a combat 2 kit came up on here for £80, seen as the car is a profit project i had to have it.

When it arrived o my god, arches wasnt round, bumper swages where all ova the shop, n e way had a little work to do to it before could trail fit, also had to buy new dorrs n wings etc,

here is a pic of it when bumper, skirts and new panels where fitted:

oh and a bad boy bonnet lol.

Then it was time to fit the arches and hope then where now looking round lol:

Also started to blend the arches into the skirts fibreglass, then filler for the smooth look.

Then came the bad boy smooth boot:

Now my garage at home suffered a badger cutting a hole into the roof and trying to steal things, sadly my garage door is shit and you carnt get out from inside for some reason, but the badger couldnt get a thing out, foot prints all ova the car, n bits moved but nothing missing......so decided to ask me may if i can use his tractor garage for a few weeks.
He said yes and this is how it arrived at the garage:

.

Right then, i was well excited to get it in a massive garage. First thing, bad boy was given a extended lip, and the dodgy bumper grill area was fibreglass flat:

Skimmed it:

got it nice n smooth....no daft waves or hills in it. High built it so could 320 it, see if there where any imperfections:

Now to the back, god tailgate did my head in.....couldnt get it quite right, so up stepped my younger borother who is the panel beater and in like 20 mins had nailed it, so here it is in primer, oh the bumper has had the lower bit cut off as it was all ova the place, i kinda liked this look to be fair tho...something different:

Right now thats done we dicided to attack the rear quater panels, my god someone had done a number on thses, all the red marks are the dints/ lows:

Brother came to the rescue again as just looking at it....it had me beaten...once again, did a class job. Didnt get a picture of the other quater panel but it was near enough the same.

Right, now we need to tie up a few things e.g. exhaust and a came across the ideal one for the beast.....beardy was selling it, so took a journey down to manchester handed over a very very good price and had a look around his workshop.....That guy is not only a really nice kid, he is awesome at what he does. Was amazing, n e way fitted the exhaust, taped exhaust cut out up to see how its going to look once ive glassed in:

Oh the tailgate had red stopper chicken pots that week, poor thing hehe

Ne way tied up a few things, primed the full car apart from the roof, only primed repaired area on that:

started to see how it was going to look.

Now had to clean my mates garage out ready to paint, after that had to bag up all his equipment, put water down rolled the car in. Painted it Ford Radiant red first, let it go off. Then painted the black. NO pics of this as it was pretty hectic and forgot all about it to be fair.

Here it is 2day with black wheels n e way, hasnt been properly machine polished as of yet and still hasnt got windows fitted or other seat fitted. By the end of this week should be polished, windows tinted and fitted. Then all i have to do is source some rear springs, tinted rear lights and headlights:

.

As i said, it isnt completed yet but is very close. Also it is a project.....Named project profit becasue he hasnt cost me much to do as the materials where borrowed from work hehehe, the work was done by a professional painter n panel beater, all parts used where haggled with to get lowest prices and my mate let me use his garage for free. hehehehe Shall be up for sale very soon

Comments welcome

Cheers

reason i want 90mm springs is there isnt going to be any rear seats and theres no spare wheel well. Also the rear is already lowered 40mm....Its mental isnt it. I dont think 90mm will slam it as there is no weight in the back.

Also handles are staying black as i think it ties in with the colour theme, may even do the filler cap black lol....undicided lol.

I just carnt wait to have it finished, ive near enough lived in the garage 24/7 to get it finsihed. Had nothing but trouble with the kit aswell. If only i had pics of when i got it.
