LAST WEEK...

I Purchased a K Reg 1.6 8v XR2i

72k miles genuine

few bubbles of rust and one hole by wiper.. nothing to worry about

engine is sound.
rocker gasket needs changing though.

the pictures do it too much justice.. its not that red

more to come....

spoiler removed along with half the stickers

the car has now been put on some temp spax shox and springs.. only done rear due to lack of time..

and also aquired some cheap RS2000 Wheels for £50 from my cousin

Changed the oil and used the oil I now Swear by

something wasnt quite right at idle sooo..

gave this little baby a clean and its now sweet as a nut

bought myself some stopping power

sierra cossworth brakes

gonna be a tight squeeze but worth it

these will be put on the rear

i have a set on the cupra and it made a huge difference to the rear end...

these are required on the fiesta due to the bump stop sitting on the tyre..

also need to order some 195/45's rather than the /50's currently on the RS2000 alloys

rocker gasket
Cossie brakes

and more

but I work 7 days a week...

update!!

swapped the spax suspension i fitted for something a little bit better..

picked them up quite cheap, and I have three sets of spare springs for rear all different heights and firmness so I can have a bit of trial and error..

ashely 4-2-1 fitted...

fook me I started it up with just manifold.. LOUD

powerflex mounts

I also have powerflex wishbone mounts for front and rear aswell as arb mounts on the way...

1 bucket seat to replace the very nice but very heavy recaro's it had

Looks good mate have had 2 track MK3's before.

get a ZS rear beam for it mate, it will sort the twitchy rear end problem that is common on the MK3.

yup, had half a dash, bin bag door cards.... xr2 engine
dropped 60mm ish, completly stripped down to unnessary wiring

can I ask why it had the xr2 engine?
