I've got a VW Vento (mk golf with a boot) 1.9 TDI (90 bhp)
What do I need to do to it to run it on veggie oil? A guy at work has said its best to mix it up and put in 50%diesel with 50% veggie oil. Another person reckons its fine to run on pure veggie oil!
Any help on this please? The car cost me £300 and I cover 300 miles a week.

50%diesel with 50% veggie oil if you put it in pure it will clog up and prob fuck the fuel pump

bio diesel is cheaper than veg oil at the moment and no need run it mixed (car dependant)

I run my 160'000 mile corsa on 100% pure veggy oil. I have been running it like that for about 8 months ( and through winter without mixing it), only mod I did was wrap some coppr pipe round the manifold so to pre heat the oil to thin it out alittle.
It stinks, its slow as but its cheap and thats all that matters.

Just found someone who lives in my hometown, and sells used filtered veggie oil for 60p a litre!
Now all I gotta do is dare and do it!

Used Veggie oil will need filtering mate alot depending on what its been used for.
your best bet to save hassle is find you local BioDeisal place. dosent need mixing just fill yourself up and away you go.
My local places are 88p per/lt
