on ex engine.. all wired up properly.. why aint it coming on?

yeh its pluged in.. was fine just before i took the engine out of the calibra

does the ECU/management light come on when you turn the keys? (but not turn it over)

you connected the blue and red wire up on the 9 pin block

is there any other wires that need connecting for the fuel pump relay or is it just the thich blue and red wire?

hardwired the fuel pump straight to the battery and the car starts fine so what would the reason for the fuel pump not coming on be? its all wired up properly i think lol.. i think maybe the relay is fuked but it was fine in the calibra just before i took it out

how would i go about removing the imobiliser from the fuel pump wiring?

can hardwire it to the ecu switch live so it will come on when the ignition comes on?

would this be ok to do?

this a C20xe?

if so, it WONT have an imobaliser..

it will more than likely be the relay, if anything, try tapping it again something.
it's not un-comment for the to just stop working out of the blue

Has the engine loom been cut into for an immobiliser fitted to the car it was previously in?

its had an aftermarket imobiliser fitted.. would it be ok to run the fuel pump live wire off the switched live?

I wouldn't do it that way, the fuel pump can drag a fair few amps and the ignition switched live doesn't carry a great deal of power to the ECU. Id unwrap the loom near the ECU and see where the wires have been cut for this aftermarket immobiliser and re-connect them as they should be
