Whats ET40? and i was just wondering as i am about to purchase some alloys for my corsa but i dont know what to go for its a standard silver corsa i want 16s and im going to lower 40-60 all round i was wondering wether to get 18spoke or 5 spoke or 6 spoke or what ever lol

if your that low then you will defo get problems, wil have to do quite a bit of arch work

ET40 is the offset of the wheels mounting face.

ET40 means that the mounting face of the wheel (the part that sits flush to your wheel hub, is 40mm offset from the centre line of the wheel.

i.e. if it was ET50, then the wheel would sit a further 10mm out of the arch, giving you a 20mm wider track overall... and the head ache of rolling your arch lips mose than likely!
