going to remove my rear wiper today i think and put a gromit in..
could i just remove the wiper arm or do i need to take the motor out aswell?
also how much are the gromits? can get them halfords cant you?

think you might have to remove the motor aswell mate
yeah halfods sell em should only be a couple of quid not sure what milimeter they are tho

halfords dow sell them.well they told me they didnt.go to motorworld and you can get a pack with gromits with two sizes.half inch and three quarter inch.one of them shud fit

you do need to remove the motor as the a part of it goes through the hole to fix the arm to...its only 3 bolts anyway from memory
Also, Halfords do sell the grommit (I had the same thing as Envoy Ash)

I picked up the grommit today for 30p
You do need to take the motor out as the spindle will still be poking out.
Just take the cloth from inside the boot out (torx) and carefully tug it out with some TLC
Disconnect the plug to the motor, take it's earth out and take wiper arm of and presto!
Even i could do it which is sumthing

how about removing the motor and then filling the hole properly... bah gromits

i do want a semi smoothed boot as some stage so the gromit is just for the time being...
