why dont gsi bumpers ever fit properly???..
i had a replica come into my workshop today, the bumper was almost hanging off
its always the panel gap between drivers wing and bumper too??
is a genuine gsi a few MM wider?

Its the crappy bolts that go in the wheel arch IMO

i dont think its just gsi bumpers. it happens to any bumper. once youve taken it off its hard to get it to fit perfect

My problem is also the drivers side...but once its bolted up it should hold...its just that the clip aint holding it tight.

My bumper didnt even have the little lugs on for the standard bolts to go through, I drilled a hole in the bumper out of sight in the wheel arch and then a hole in the wing under where the bumper sits and cable tied it. Just make sure the hole in the wing is higher and further back than the one in the bumper, you should get the idea when you come to do it anyway.
Theres not a big load on the mounting points there anyway and I dare say a cable tie is stronger than 10 year old plastic nuts
