Hi Ladies
Just looking for some advise on how to stop my car surging when i go round a couple of tight bends, its like i have a gogo gadget smoke screen, the car runs fine and doest smoke at all, but every now and then this happens,
any suggestions

yep you can either drill a few holes in the plate or cut most of it out and leave a small peice in by where the 2 breather pipes connect.

You can block the little breather pipe for a start.
Then do the rocker cover mod. There's guides and info on Migweb and Vauxsport.
Mine had both of the above done and still did it occassionally (but reduced) so i stuck a catch tank on it and it was fine

wat plate are you on about craig, not to clued up on this breather stuff, could you go into mre detail

Take rocker cover off and flip it over.
Theres a thin plate thats mounted to the under side.
MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE SWARF OUT PROPPERLY BEFORE RE-FITTING!

i mean reaching the bore , as in running through the inlet and making it smoke for about 15 secs till you clear it out

yes, should prevent oil getting into the tb, and thought the inlet system
|
