i have white lockwoods with red needles but need to chose a colour for my leds.

was thinking white or blue anyone got any pics of these?

in my garage i had white lockwoods, black needles and blue leds.

my gsi had silver lockwoods and blue (i think) LED's. they were nowhere near bright enough through the lockwoods to be easy to read at night.
I'd stick with bulbs if you want nice dials or normal dials if you want LED's - personally

does anyone know where i can buy bulbs rather than LEDs?

fonz - did you roughen the LED bulbs?

no i fitted them straight in. i have recetly heard that flatterning the tip of the LED would have distributed the light rather than have the clear concentration in those three areas but the camera (which i excuse again) does pick up on the light difference more than it is seen in person so was not so keen to make the change.

eBay will do you good, thats where i got mine from

mine were bulbs iirc and i think the site was called aceparts or something like that

You need flat topped LEDs for unit illumination. Don't buy domed ones and sand them as the result is pretty poor. Buy an LED that suits the job, don't buy one which you need to adapt as it won't be half as good.
