Quick Question:
I have an Windows XP Admin account at work, and one of the other people I work with have taken off the admin rights to my account (practical joke maybe?). Anyway, I'm still logged in as administrator but as soon as I log out, I'll be a normal user again. Is there anyway to show the User Accounts bit in "Administrive Tools" so I can reinstall my admin rights while I'm still technically admin?
And then maybe take his away too, and force a shutdown

Start > Run > control userpasswords2
You can set people to Admin in there.

Sorry guys, I was misinformed. I am still a full domain admin, but I dont have all the options shown in the Admin Tools folder... Namely the active directory. I need it to create a new user account for a new starter, but I cant find it anywhere. I'm on my own in the office, so CS is my only hope

I know its late, but ad is controlled on your DC, in administrative tools, open it up, find where your users are located and then copy one with a similar role (i.e who they are replacing or same dept) This will then give them the same drive accesses if they have been set up (and emails lists etc)
Sorry its a bit late
