tbh your never going to have a quick 1l they are just too small a engine, if you want a quick corsa then there is only 3 ways to go about it, put a mildly tuned c16xe or x16xe in it, that will give you a kick if your used to driving small cc, then you could go for the good old c20xe, fast in standard trim but can be made to go silly quick, then you have the c20let well if you got deep pockets then get this done, but be wear this bugger will put you into a wall if you don't pay attention... The choice is yours if you have the money....

Alternativly just get a light weight flywheel and get the rev limit raised with a set of arp rod bolts and it will feel like a rocket ship to you

Personally I wouldn't spend the money on it.

Wait until you can insure/afford a bigger engine and get one put in.

i wouldnt bother doing it to a 1L, there not made for performance, just a cheap run around they dont even do an exhaust system for it, but i know wot you mean because i have a 1L myself, just get and induction kit, keep the car serviced, and if u know some one who can make you an exhaust system all well and good, but remember in some cases its not wot you drive, its how you drive

Have you seen how much these little engines fetch on ebay, nearly enough to buy a 2.0 16v!

^^ thats because they are always blowing up and people need replacement ones. Seriously used to get loads of phone calls at work asking for them. I could ask any price I wanted for one an people would buy them.

Blowing up? Mine has done 81k and still going strong. No sign what so ever of giving up. Treat it well and it'll do the same for you

nope no point what so ever, money that could be spent on buying a real engine (which the money of a chip could pay for alone)
