Been looking at lease hiring a car, i have been looking at GMC leasing, and they say you can get an astra VXR for 179 Per month?

now, this is far too good to be true, is there a huge deposit to put down before hand, has anyone lease hired a car before? what other charges are included in this sort of agreement?

any help would be lovely.

Sounds cheap!

Usually you just pay whatever a month, either business or private hire, on a fixed term fixed mileage type thing then hand it back

Looked at it myself....seemed expensive.

ye u pay that a month then at the end of it they will offer you a deal with a couple of more brand new cars for the same price or they will offer you the chance to pay the rest of what the car is worth for you to keep it

Might aswell just get a car on finance/loan as then you still have something to sell at the end, unless you treat it like sh*t

Got to add VAT to the per month price if it's personal. Three month's worth as an initial charge usually, then the monthly cost over 2 or 3 years. Basically you're pay the depreciation on the car and then they take it back and sell it at the end.

And they'll invoice you for any damage as well at the end.

the price is £210 including the VAT and you need to pay 6 months up front.

it's on a 10k m.p.a plan.
