I'm looking for a good quality camera for taking out on nights out and taking the odd snap out and about.
Any suggestions?
I've seen the Nikon Coolpix s210 advertised on TV, is that any good?

Forget the Nikon, their cheap compacts aren't great.
Go for a Fuji F31fd. You'll find it cheap now and the quality will be far higher than the Nikon. It's also great in low light.

The Nikon S210 is a great camera. Why do you think they arent great? They are fantastic value for money. Come to Jessops, our summer sale starts today, alot of compacts are half price!

Also check out the pentax s10, think its come down to 100, that and the nikon s210 are two of the smallest compacts on the market so great on a night out.

It's an average camera but at £100 odd quid it's a bargain I'll give you that.
It built well though and will fit in your pocket with ease.

Thanks for the advice, I've ordered the nikon for £94 delivered.
I'll no doubt get drunk and loose it the first time I take it out, it wouldn't be the first time its happened.

Nikon Coolpix S210 is a good camera... I had one but don't let it fall into anyone's drinks as it fucks them up 
Where did you find it for £94? Mine was £114 I think.

You could pick up a Cannon Ixus (65 I think) second hand for that price.
They are seriously good cameras!
