right, 106 rally, went for its mot
really clean 70437 miles, great runner
basicly i have never worked on a 106 before, its my brothers car so any help or tips would be greatly appreciated
so mot it failed on 7 points :
001 registration plate lamp not working [1.1.5c]
002 nearside headlamp aim too low [1.6]
003 nearside rear radius arm has excessive play in a pin/bush [2.4.G.3]
004 offside rear radius arm has excessive play in a pin/bush [2.4.G.3]
005 offside front constant velocity joint gaiter split [2.5.C.1a]
006 offside front wheel bearing has excessive play [2.5.A.3c]
007 power steering inoperative [2.3.1a]
thats the points it failed for, anyone got any ideas of what can be done to reapair these,
and on the ones with excess play am i right in saying thats just bushes??
and for power steering could this be a fuse??

003 nearside rear radius arm has excessive play in a pin/bush [2.4.G.3] - bearings in rear axle probs gone if its lowered
004 offside rear radius arm has excessive play in a pin/bush [2.4.G.3]
005 offside front constant velocity joint gaiter split [2.5.C.1a] - new cv boot
006 offside front wheel bearing has excessive play [2.5.A.3c] - kwik fit
007 power steering inoperative [2.3.1a] - does the rallye even have power steering?

cheers mate, i dont have a clue about the power steering one, cause i would have though no, but i dunno

iirc the rallyes dont come with power steering, electric window and that
is it s1 or s2?

wel its got winndy windows but there is a power steering pump from what i can see
its r reg if that helps mate
